Family Owned HVAC Since 1990
Integrate Comfort Systems is a family-owned heating and cooling contractor working out of Carlstadt, Belleville and Englewood Cliffs. We have been doing this in Northern New Jersey and New York City since 1990, and the work is still run the way a family business runs it.
Who You Are Calling
One company, three dispatch offices, and the same people answering the phone year after year.
The Worst HVAC Advice Ever
Most of what goes wrong in this trade starts with advice that sounds sensible. Match the old size. Skip the load calculation. We put videos out because a homeowner who understands the decision does not need to be sold anything.
Thirty-Five Years of Integrate Comfort Systems
We started in 1990 as a service company in Bergen County, working on furnaces and boilers that were already old then. The footprint grew outward: Hudson and Passaic, then Essex and Union, then Morris, Sussex and Warren, then across the river into the five boroughs. The commercial side grew the same way, out of buildings whose owners already knew us from a house.
Family ownership is not a decoration on that history; it decides what we can do. Nobody here has to hit a monthly replacement number, so a technician who finds a sound system with a failed part is free to say so. That is the difference between a company you call twice and one you call for twenty years.
Today the residential and commercial sides share one shop, one set of standards and one licence. The physics does not care which building it is in.
- Founded 1990 Β· still family owned and family run
- More than 12,000 installations across the region
- Residential, commercial and in-house sheet metal fabrication
- Nine New Jersey counties and the five boroughs
Comfort Up, Operating Cost Down
Three Offices, One Standard
Trucks are dispatched from three locations, so the drive to you is across a county rather than across the state.
Carlstadt β Shop & Warehouse
736 Gotham Parkway. Shop, warehouse and sheet metal floor. Covers Bergen, Hudson, Passaic and New York City, and fabricates duct for every job we run.
Belleville β Main Office
267 Cortlandt Street. Covers Essex, Union and Morris, and reaches Sussex and Warren as scheduled work rather than same-day service.
Englewood Cliffs
120 Charlotte Place, Suite 201. Eastern Bergen and the George Washington Bridge corridor, which is how we get into upper Manhattan quickly.
What We Are Certified To Do
Every one of these is a card somebody had to sit an exam for, and it is checked before a technician works alone.
NATE-Certified
North American Technician Excellence certification, the trade’s own competence test, across gas, hydronic and heat pump work.
Mitsubishi Diamond
Mitsubishi Electric Diamond and Elite contractor status for ductless and multi-zone systems, including ceiling cassettes.
Cold-Climate Heat Pumps
Cold-climate heat pump certified, which is what a New Jersey January actually asks of a heat pump installation.
NJ Devils Partner
An affiliate partner of the New Jersey Devils β a hometown association, in a state we have worked in since 1990.

Questions People Ask Us First
How long has Integrate Comfort Systems been in business?
Since 1990 β more than thirty-five years in the same region, and over 12,000 installations. A fair share of the service calls we run today are on systems we put in ourselves.
Is ICS family owned?
Yes, since it was founded, and it has never been part of a group. That is why nobody here works to a replacement quota, and why the person deciding how a difficult job gets handled is somebody whose name is on the company.
What does ICS mean by improving comfort while reducing operating cost?
Something specific. Comfort is even temperature room to room, humidity in a sensible range and a system quiet enough to ignore. Operating cost is what it takes to hold that. The two move together when equipment is sized to a measured load and the duct can carry the air, and apart when a big unit is dropped onto a restricted duct system. So we measure heat loss, static pressure and airflow before we quote, and verify them again at handover. See our case studies.
What areas does ICS cover?
Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Essex, Union, Morris, Sussex and Warren counties, plus New York City. Sussex and Warren are the longest runs and are handled from Belleville as scheduled work. The full list is on our service areas page.
Is ICS licensed and insured in New Jersey?
Yes, and both numbers are printed in the strip above and in the contact block below. Ask any contractor for theirs before work starts, and check the number on the proposal matches the one on the truck.
Does ICS work on commercial buildings as well as houses?
Both, from the same shop. The commercial side runs rooftop units, chillers and cooling towers, steam and hot water plant, building automation and design-build. See commercial HVAC.
Tell Us What You Are Dealing With
A failing system, a building you inherited, or a plan for next year. We will say plainly what we would do.
Does your thermostat reach the set temperature while certain rooms still feel uncomfortable? The number on the screen doesnβt always tell the whole story.
Uneven cooling can be related to airflow, ductwork, insulation, humidity, or HVAC performance. Understanding the cause is the first step toward better whole-home comfort.

A new AC system can help lower energy use when itβs properly sized, installed, and maintained. Upgrading from an older, less efficient unit may also improve comfort and help your system run more efficiently during hot weather.
Thinking about replacing your AC? ICS can help you find the right fit for your home.
